Questions About Your Visit
-
Yes! Every year we craft a brand-new experience. You’ll recognize some familiar traditions that keep the magic alive, but each season brings new games, conversations, activities, and gifts. That way, families can return year after year and know it will always feel new and exciting.
The cabin itself will feel familiar, but just like Santa’s real home at the North Pole, we add a little more Christmas magic each season. For example, in 2024 we introduced a new walking path, a glowing outdoor lamppost, more elves, bright red curtains, a replacement antique typewriter, an antique telephone, and several other new toys. Each little upgrade adds a spark of wonder while preserving the timeless charm that makes Santa’s Cabin feel like home!

When choosing your outfits, please keep the outdoor temperature in mind. Santa’s Cabin is well-insulated and heated intermittently by an electric radiator, but it can still be quite cold on cold days, especially early in the morning before it’s had time to heat up, and temperatures often fluctuate as families come and go.
If it’s cold on the day of your visit, we recommend bringing a festive coat or blanket to keep warm while still looking great in photos. Keep in mind that Santa will be dressed, ready to fly, in his full Christmas Eve regalia, so scarves, hats, and mittens will fit right in! And if you forget, don’t worry—Santa keeps a few extra blankets on hand to share.
-
Santa loves your pets—but his cabin is a pet-free zone. Even Rudolph has to stay outside! With so many families visiting, the risk of damage, accidents, or lingering odors is simply too high. We comply with the ADA.
-
Yes! We have a detachable wheelchair ramp that enables guests using both wheelchairs and motorized wheelchairs to come in and experience the magic. If you include a note in the “special requests” section of your booking form, we’ll have it ready for you the moment you arrive.
-
Absolutely! One of the best parts of Santa’s Cabin is that your scheduled time is reserved just for your family. There’s no long line or crowd, so Santa can meet your children exactly where they’re most comfortable.
Santa is also a certified teacher in the state of New Jersey, with many years of experience working with children who have sensory, developmental, and learning differences, including autism, ADHD, and more.
-
Yes! No matter which Santa experience you booked, you’re more than welcome to take your own photos and videos. Please note that if you booked a DIY Mini Experience, our helper will not be allowed inside the cabin to assist with photos. If you’d like to be in the pictures yourself, please plan ahead by bringing a friend, tripod, or anything else you might need.
-
Each visit to Santa’s Cabin is intended for one immediate family. Santa will treat all children in a single experience as siblings, so please ask friends or cousins to schedule their visit separately. If you’d like to get together with another family for photos, please schedule back-to-back visits and contact us to make special arrangements.
Grandparents are always welcome! And if you’d like to bring another adult to take photos during your DIY Mini session, that’s perfectly okay too!
